Data Connection

General Setup

  • Meta (Instagram, Facebook), TikTok, Twitter/X, and YouTube.

  • Customers connect accounts via the Data Connect section of the platform,

  • These do not require an API connection. Customers provide the account handles, and Trajektory’s engineering team sets up tracking.

  • Each customer has a set number of accounts to track as defined in their contract.

Methodology & Workflow

  • Meta looks back 20 days to capture impressions and engagements (98% of engagements occur within the first 10 days).

Troubleshooting

  • Possible reasons include:

    • Token expired (account disconnected).

    • No partner detection in the analyzed post (data won’t populate in Asset Intelligence).

    • Wrong account handle entered.

  • Yes, for $1,000 per account handle per year. Example: Adding mascot Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter = $3,000/year.
